Thrivent For Lutherans recently recognized GLC’s quilting ministry.

Since 2001, GLC ladies have put together nearly 5,000 quilts. These quilts are sold to members and friends and also sent to Lutheran World Relief. The proceeds have been used to support ministry at GLC and throughout the world.

Congrats, June and Girls, for your continued faithfulness year in-year out in this very special ministry!

The “Christmas Mobile” is ready to go and all the lights are lit on this special hayride-style trailer. After singing special songs of joy and hope to residents in our neighborhood, plenty of hot chocolate will be available. The children and families are invited to stay the evening for movies as well!

Fun starts at 6 pm on Friday, December 9th!

GLC’s annual Women’s Advent Tea enjoyed its largest crowd ever. Over 70 women–including guests, friends, family and other members–enjoyed our Advent Inaugural event. Desserts and music provided by classical Guitarist Anthony D’mambro was excellent.

Thanks to all for helping us “Prepare the way for the Lord” this Advent!

Beginning Guitar lessons start on Thursdays in January. Lessons begin at 6:30 pm and will be led by Pastor Fischer. Advanced students may qualify for the Youth Band which meets on Thursdays, 7 pm. Call for information.

GLC’s expanding Family Ministry welcomes our new Director of Family Ministry, Matt Kunkel. Matt is bringing new excitement and an even higher level of friendliness and ideas for our Terrific Tuesday ministry.
