Sleep In…And Then Worship At 11:30 am

GLC announces a new casual, family-friendly, contemporary worship service starting September 11, 2011. Starting at 11:30 am, this service will feature opening songs of praise, a simple, practical message for daily living from Scripture, praise, prayer and closing. Children’s Church will also be offered during this service.
So now you, your friends and your family can sleep in, come to church, and worship the Lord each Sunday! No need to dress up. Come as you are–and worship!

GLC Is A Family Friendly Partners Network Congregation

GLC’s growing family ministry will be greatly enhanced and resourced as we begin a three-year partnership with Family Friendly Partners Network (FFPN). GLC, with twelve other Michigan District-LCMS congregations, will take a three-year journey to discover the diversities of families, the needs of changing families, and how we can minister to singles, single-head families, step-parent families, empty-nest families and seniors in their golden years. Thanks to Roberta and the entire FFPN coordinating team.

Kidz1st Pediatrics Visits GLC

GLC Family Ministry is helping parents to prepare for school. Kidz1st of Rochester will sponsor a special evening at GLC to help parents plan healthy snacks and alternative breakfasts for their children. Join us on Wednesday, August 23rd. 6-8 pm.
