Lent Begins On Wed, March 9th

2011 Lenten Season occurs about as late as it can possibly occur. As our observation of Lent and Easter follows the Jewish Lunar Calendar for Passover, there is a 28 day spread in the date for Lent and Easter. In 2010, the date was very early. 2011 is very late.

Plan now to “take up your cross” and follow Jesus by your Lenten worship.
